Work & Travel USA
Work and Travel is an international cultural exchange program that allows students from different countries to visit the United States to work and travel. The purpose of this program is to give students a chance to get acquainted with the American lifestyle and culture. Initiated by the US State Department in the 1960s, the Work and Travel program is now the easiest way to travel to the United States as a student.
For students in Romania, the Work and Travel program, through the J1 visa, starts on June 15 and ends no later than October 31 (when you must already be home), October being reserved exclusively for travel - any extension can affect you in first, a possible departure the following year.
Conditions for participation
In order to be able to go to the States through the Work and Travel program, you must:
Be a full-time student, master's or doctoral student;
Be enrolled in a state or private faculty, accredited or in the process of accreditation;
You are not more than 30 years old;
You know English at an intermediate level;
You have a good school situation;
It doesn't matter if you are a freshman or a freshman. Starting with 2010, the United States Embassy has relaxed the conditions for participation and the good grades and the fewest arrears do nothing but help you.

We are also sure that you want to be relaxed before the visa interview.
The Embassy of the United States of America recommends starting the whole process as soon as possible, in this regard receiving appointments for the interview starting with April.
